With diabetes being the cause of 60% of nontraumatic lower-limb amputations and the leading cause of new cases of blindness among adults aged 20–74 years in the United States, the American Diabetes Association of Southeastern Wisconsin wanted to educate the public about the seriousness of the disease. To help with this effort, we created posters and ads to draw attention to the complications diabetes can cause if not managed properly and encourage healthier lifestyles.
